How to Join HUGAFO-K
HUGAFO-K is dedicated to expanding its influence and ensuring that the voices of HG communities are heard on national and international platforms. HUGAFO-K vision is to expand its network from Kenya to East Africa. Through continuous engagement in policy processes, capacity-building initiatives, and strategic partnerships, HUGAFO-K aims to secure a brighter future for Hunter Gatherer communities in Kenya. HUGAFO-K is open to Non-Profit Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) focusing on traditional Hunter Gatherer communities.
The membership process involves:
Expression of Interest
Submit a formal request and complete the membership application form.
Review and Approval
The Steering Committee will assess the application. Approval will be communicated via the official email of the applying CSO.
Official Initiation
Approved CSOs will be formally introduced to the network during a workshop, where they will receive the HUGAFO-K Strategic Plan from the host secretariat & the HUGAFO-K Chairperson.
Annual Subscription
Members are required to pay an annual subscription fee of 5,000 Kenyan Shillings.
Certificate of Membership
Upon completion of the process, a Certificate of Membership will be awarded.
